Why it's on the list

Semi-rigid wood fibre batts for walls, ceilings and floors. Vapour open, so they let a wall dry instead of trapping moisture, and they're dense enough not to slump in the frame. Passive House certified, non-irritating to handle and recyclable.

Watch-outs

Only 90mm is held in stock; other thicknesses are special order with about a 3-month lead time. No Queensland depot, so allow for freight. Costs well above glasswool.
